Centre international d’études pédagogiques

The Centre International d’Etudes Pédagogiques (CIEP) is a national, public organisation known in France and abroad for its expertise in training, evaluation and languages and as a key player in the sphere of international cooperation in the field of education. Its activities are carried out by a network of experts and national and international partners supported by the know-how of a team of more than 200. CIEP has been active in the field of European project management for more than a decade, as coordinator of a number of previous and current projects within the Lifelong Learning Programme of the European Commission such as Semlang, SAEL, REAL, EPG and as a partner in different EU projects, including Surveylang, Lingu@net and CODA. The CIEP is the contact point for the European Centre for Modern Languages (ECML) in France.

Role in ProM

As coordinating institution, the CIEP’s task is to give impulse to the whole range of activities being carried out in ProM. It has responsibility in particular for ensuring the sustainability of ProM after the end of the project.
